How to Lose 160 Pounds

My editor thought it might be a good idea to give you a firsthand report of what a Living Foods Diet can do for you. But CNN recently ran one that I thought was perfect. Plus, this gives you another voice to confirm my findings.

Angela Stokes, now 30, had normal weight as a child, but gained a lot as a teen. She had low functioning in her thyroid. By the end of college, she wore a U.K dress size 26-28 and weighed 300 pounds. She was very unwell, very miserable. She was eating junk food. It was her comfort. She had frequent illnesses and infections. Living itself was a challenge, including cutting her toenails.

Two years after reaching what would be her maximum weight, someone passed a book to her on eating raw foods. Angela says that something switched on in her like a light bulb. She adopted eating raw the next day. She went cold turkey.

She says the raw food diet completely transformed her life. In only a month, she had her first boyfriend in more than five years. In just two years, she had lost 160 pounds. Shes had dramatic improvements in every aspect of life – the physical, mental, social, and emotional. She says that she is happier than Ive ever been.

Stokes now weighs 138 pounds. Shes kept her weight down for four years and is authoring books of her own on raw foods. Her advice mirrors mine. Go slow on this. Begin with about 50% raw foods (Living Foods) and work your way up slowly from there. Angelas story confirms that diet may trump low thyroid. In my medical experience, diet can trump most anything.
