Do you have trouble breathing? You may have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This disease includes such breathing disorders as asthma, chronic bronchitis, pulmonary fibrosis, and emphysema. The number of people who have one of these disorders is growing rapidly. But theres good news.
According to a new study, theres a no-cost way to experience significant help.
In the study, researchers followed 11,897 men and women. They found that if you are in the highest quintile of total fiber intake from food, you will have superior lung function. That means you will be able to exhale more total air volume and more quickly.
Furthermore, if you are in the highest total fiber group, your risk of COPD drops by 15%. And if the fiber is mostly fruit, it drops by a whopping 38%. Fruit is loaded with soluble fiber and has the highest risk reduction of the major fibers.
If you have COPD, please be sure to improve your diet as I repeatedly call for in these pages. And even if you do not have COPD, this should be a reminder that Living Foods full of God-made stuff is what your body needs for optimum performance.
