You probably already know that the best way to prevent cancer is with a healthy immune system. And you may also know that the best treatment for cancer is a healthy immune system. This is a message that Ive been beating for years. But what you may not know is that it might be possible to transplant a healthy immune system into cancer patients to fight their cancer.
Researchers in a recent study discovered exactly that. They found that the white blood cells of cancer-resistant mice can wipe out even advanced and aggressive cancers when transplanted into mice with cancer.
But that was not all they discovered. They also found that the cells protected normal mice from getting cancer. The researchers injected healthy mice with what otherwise would have been a lethal dose of injected cancer cells. Then they injected them with the white blood cells of other healthy mice. And the white blood cells prevented the cancer from growing.
So how did the mice become resistant? Researchers discovered a single mouse to be cancer resistant in 1999. Scientists bred this mouse and found incredible cancer resistance in many of its offspring. The findings are simply stunning, even in my book.
Simply harvesting cells from the cancer resistant mice, and injecting them into cancer-carrying animals was all it took. The cells would migrate to the cancer and destroy it. The cells did not even need a prior exposure to cancer to do their work. They simply knew what to do on their own. The cells went further to kill additional cancers that naturally were springing up in the recipient mice.
The kind of cancer did not seem to matter either. And it did not harm normal cells. A single injection of white cells offered long-term protection against cancer for the life of the recipient mouse. The researchers did not expect this. White cells usually die off. They shouldnt live the entire life span of the mouse.
This is incredible news. It might give us a way to enhance immunity in people with cancer. We know that some people just never get cancer, no matter what carcinogenic exposures they have had. There are others who spontaneously remit (that means their cancers go away without the doctors having a clue).
Ive always said these people should be studied, that they provide the real clue to cancer cure. But medicine chose to ignore spontaneous remissions and instead pursued toxic treatments.
What does this mean for you? First, know that you need an immune system that works to its maximum ability to protect you from cancer. Second, it raises questions about how to get your immune system able to see cancer.
Virtually everyone with cancer has crippled detoxification abilities, overload of toxins, and inadequate mineralization along with overall poor nutritional status. All of these impair the ability of your immune system to recognize and destroy cancer.
I recently monitored a rigorous metabolic program that combined a cancer vaccine with intense detox and nutritional work both orally and intravenously. I am happy to report that the majority of those I observed are either cancer free or living with stable or improving disease. And best of all, the treatments had little toxicity.
