More Good News for Men With Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction is making bazillions for Big Pharma. Theres Viagra, Cialis, and others. I get about 10 junk emails a day trying to peddle either real or some fake stuff. So you know that ED is a huge issue. Ive told you about several non-drug remedies in these pages. Heres another one.

Researchers gave 60 men with ED Korean red ginseng. They gave them 1,000 mg three times a day for 12 weeks. They scored the participants sexual function with standard tests. The ginseng improved the scores from 16.4 prior to use to 21. Placebo netted no significant change (17-17.7).

Furthermore, the men taking the ginseng reported greater improvements for rigidity, penetration, and maintenance of erection as compared to placebo. These effects were noted in the absence of any change in serum testosterone, cholesterol, and another hormone called prolactin. The authors concluded that Korean red ginseng can be an effective alternative to invasive approaches for ED.

By invasive they probably meant surgery. But I consider Viagra and other drug potions to be invasive. They force an imbalance in your nitric oxide metabolism. That is invasive in my book. While that might help blood flow to your penis, it can be very detrimental to your eyes and brain.

Surgical methods, like pumps, are even far more invasive. Korean red ginseng sounds like a great alternative. If you have not had good results for your ED with other natural remedies, or if you would like to get off Viagra, give Korean red ginseng a try and let me know how it does.

You can find Korean red ginseng in most health food stores and on the Internet. Take 900-1,000 mg three times daily.
