One of the biggest drawbacks to some medical treatments is their affect on your veins. Unconventional doctors like me use needles to provide all sorts of treatments. These therapies include chelation, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, ultraviolet therapy, IV nutrition, and IV vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.
Conventional doctors also use IV therapy. If you have a bad infection, your doctor may give you IV antibiotics. If you have cancer, he might give you IV chemotherapy.
All of these treatments, especially chemo, can be very hard on your veins. Hydrogen peroxide, for instance, is almost a completely safe and powerful treatment. It just has one drawback. It can make your veins disappear!
In fact, any IV therapy can cause serious problems if you are not prepared. Ive seen a lot of patients with vein problems because of all the IV treatments they have used. And Ive even had a few close calls over the years. So whether you receive integrative therapy or rely on conventional medicine, you need to know how to protect your veins.
Fortunately, Ive found some secrets for protecting these important vessels.
I discovered these secrets when I had some problems with my veins. The first episode nearly cost me the normal use of my left hand. I have two big veins on that hand and was getting an IV in one of them. After about two minutes, I knew I was in trouble. Both of the veins became hard and incompressible.
I was scared! I knew I needed those veins for my hand to work properly. As pressure built up, my hand began to swell. It was very painful. I needed to take action immediately.
I immediately grabbed a bottle of Wobenzym, which contains some powerful clot-busting enzymes. I took around 60 capsules a day. I also took bromelain, an anti-inflammatory enzyme. I wanted these natural enzymes to chew up as much of the inflammatory proteins and clots as possible.
I also took large amounts of aloe vera extracts — up to 1,200 mg MPS (mucopolysaccharides) daily. Next, I used a far infrared sauna to deliver deep-penetrating heat. Finally, two days after the incident, I began putting castor oil packs over the site of the inflammation for 30 minutes twice daily.
After four days, I was pleased to see signs that the veins were beginning to respond to the treatment. So I continued the treatment for two full weeks. At the end of that time, both veins were soft again. They were clearly full of blood, not clots.
That was back in 1993. Recently, I had a similar problem. I was sick for five days. So one day I took a hydrogen peroxide IV. I left the catheter in so that I could take a high dose vitamin C IV later in the day.
But after the vitamin C, my antecubital (elbow crease) vein became hard as a rock. I have a lot of other veins in that area, so it was not a crisis. But I wanted to save the vein if I could.
So I repeated the process I used in 1993. But I changed a few steps. I took nattokinase twice daily instead of the other enzymes. And I applied castor oil packs topically. Sure enough, the vein was soft again after a few days.
Obviously, we are all different. This means your veins are different than mine. But this home remedy could still help you spare your veins. Whether its conventional or unconventional therapy or repeated needle sticks that are causing the inflammation, these suggestions could help.
