Ive told you in the past about the major bone problems caused by Fosamax and other osteoporosis drugs. Turns out they attack bones – particularly the jawbone – instead of helping them. But now researchers are finding out that they can cause even more problems.
Two research reports suggest a link between Reclast and Fosamax and atrial fibrillation. Preliminary reports suggest a 50% increase in your risk of getting the heart irregularity. These drugs are of the bisphosphonates class of drugs.
It can take years for a drugs toxicity to show its ugly head. That doctors rush to use a brand-new drug on you is utter insanity to me. Many doctors still consider these drugs to be as safe as candy, even after their link to destruction of the jawbone. If you have osteoporosis, avoid these drugs! Instead, focus on the nutrients Ive talked about in previous issues. These include strontium, magnesium, lactoferrin, N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), and alpha lipoic acid. Your bones and your heart will thank you.
