I’ve repeatedly told you that good doctors can be jailed for never harming anyone or intentionally committing fraud. That is the predicament all alternative, and many disliked orthodox doctors, are now in. We are faced with 120,000 pages of Federal regulations. Its just impossible to know them all. And by the time you read all of them (your whole life) there will be 120,000 pages more.
Months ago, I told you of a groundless attack on one of the finest doctors in the world, T.R. Shantha of Atlanta. If you remember, the federal government indicted Dr. Shantha, a dear friend, on the following charges:
(1) Injecting weed killer into cancer patients.
(2) Procuring unapproved Ukrain from Austria and transporting – interstate transport of a non-FDA approved drug is an interstate commerce violation.
(3) Money laundering.
(4) Using the wrong code for hyperbaric therapy. Billing for Ukrain. The billing was mostly to private insurance companies.
Dr. Shantha belatedly discovered that there had indeed been billing irregularities committed by his staff. He had never been aware of them. Accepting his vicarious responsibility, he pleaded guilty to this one count. He mortgaged his house and returned some $650,000 to the insurers, even before sentencing. That is downright unheard of. Nevertheless, even after all the other groundless charges were dismissed and restitution prepaid, prosecutors sought jail time on the one charge. What more could the man do? Furthermore, his practice was destroyed by the false allegations that made big news nationally. These were never retracted by the prosecutors.
The prosecutors also failed to acknowledge that his alternative practice saved many lives and insurers millions of dollars. Shanthas cancer-curing treatments saved insurers money they would have had to pay out for poisonous orthodox cancer therapies.
Shanthas eternally grateful patients turned out en masse to beg the judge for mercy. The judge was moved by the outpouring of cured and thankful patients. To the chagrin of the feds, he ordered only probation. He suggested that he would send his own son to Shantha if he had cancer.
Alternative physicians have the honor to put their lives, liberties, and fortunes on the line to find healing treatments for you. But in so doing, the medical establishment denies them recourse. They take away the good doctors licenses. They punish them for victimless crimes or unknown billing irregularities that would require only simple restitution.
When you are unable to find an alternative physician who could save your life, or are forced into cookbook medicine by the government, you should know why. Mandated universal federally managed health care will make criminals of us all. In the meantime, real criminals get all kinds of government protections and benefits.
Now penniless and financially ruined, Dr. Shantha is now seeking reinstatement of his license to again minister healing to his patients. I thought you would like to know.
